  • Calligraphy Course

    This course is taught by Mr. Chen Jinhu, a renowned calligrapher in China. Professor Chen has been engaged in the calligraphy area for over 40 years and has participated in over a hundred exhibitions nationwide, as well as dozens of international exhibitions. At the same time, he also has rich teaching experience. Regardless of the level of the students, Professor Chen can provide corresponding teaching according to their own conditions. He can teach writing styles such as regular script, running script, cursive script, Li script, and Wei script. The curriculum is as follows: Every ten classes are a semester, with classes scheduled from 10:30 am to 12:00 am on each Saturdays Intermediate investigation is possible.

    This course is aimed at teenagers who are interested in traditional Chinese culture (the minimum age requirement is 8 years old). In a lively and interesting form, the teacher told the students about Chinese traditional culture, including History of China, Human history, Geography of China, world geography, Chinese thought, western thought, Chinese folk customs, local customs and customs in China, and so on. The course hours are from 5pm to 7pm on Saturdays, Ten classes make up one semester The cost is $500 for a semester

  • Activities for Local Students

    The Chinese Culture Centre (Queensland) can provide the following student experience services: Major projects: introduction to ethnic musical instruments, tea ceremony experience, martial arts tai chi experience, rubbing (ancient printing), painting fan, Han suit fitting, archery (inverted bow), calligraphy experience, Han suit origami Small projects: shuttlecock kicking, pot throwing, window art cutting. You can choose one of the major projec. The major project cost is $400 lasts for 45 minutes, while a small project is a complimentary project in progress. If two classes do two sessions, each class completes its session, and then the two classes exchange. We can do the best price is $650. The venue can accommodate up to 30 people each session, with 24 people being the best. School teachers and volunteer parents are fully responsible for the safety, order, and other issues of students. We are primarily responsible for the order of the course, and we invite teachers and volunteers to actively cooperate.

    WHAT'S ON What We’re Up To The Spring Auction 2023 The Spring Auction will be held on 20th August 2023 The auction items for this event include artworks, cultural relics, handicrafts, tea, wine, porcelain, jade, bronze, religious supplies, Buddha statues, incense, and a wide variety of categories. Most of the items are selected and sent by the Chinese Cultural Center, while the rest are all from folk collectors. This event will be held in the form of offline early sales and onsite auctions. We will send the auction brochure to the gold card members in a dvance. Once the item is sold, it will no longer appear on the auction day. We will donate the majority of the auction proceeds to the Queensland Art Association for the promotion of Chinese culture.
